You have the vision. I help turn it into organized, functioning reality.
Your business has grown beyond a simple list of tasks.
You may have clients to serve, projects in motion, offers to develop, a website to maintain, systems that do not communicate with each other, and ideas that never quite make it out of your head.
You do not necessarily need another person waiting for instructions. You need someone who can understand the larger picture, identify what needs to happen next, organize the moving pieces, and help carry the work through completion.
That is where I come in.
The goal is not simply to get more tasks done. It is to move the operational, administrative, and technical work out of your head so you can focus on the decisions, relationships, expertise, and creative direction that only you can provide.
As a Technical Online Business Manager and Strategic Operations Partner, I combine strategic oversight with hands-on implementation. I help entrepreneurs and service-based businesses turn ideas into organized projects, practical systems, and completed work.
Let’s Talk About Your Business
What Is an Online Business Manager?
An Online Business Manager keeps the projects, operations, team, and metrics moving together, so the business owner does not have to hold every operational detail alone.
The Online Business Manager role was originated by Tina Forsyth, founder of the International Association of Online Business Managers and creator of the Certified OBM® program. I have followed Tina’s work and the development of the OBM profession for many years. Learn more about when it may be time to hire an Online Business Manager.
An Online Business Manager, often called an OBM, helps manage the operations behind an online or service-based business.
The role can include project management, systems development, team coordination, launch support, documentation, reporting, and helping the business owner make informed decisions.
Unlike someone who is responsible only for completing assigned tasks, an OBM looks across the business, anticipates what is coming, creates plans, coordinates the people involved, and makes sure work continues moving toward the larger goals.
My approach combines that broader operational perspective with hands-on experience in WordPress, online courses, CRM and email systems, design, technology, digital organization, and implementation.
I can help determine what needs to be done, organize how it will happen, coordinate the people and systems involved, and personally implement many of the technical and operational pieces required to make it work.
You May Need This Kind of Support If…
- Administrative, marketing, and technical details are consuming time you need for clients, leadership, business development, or your core work.
- You have more ideas than time to organize and implement them.
- Important projects keep getting delayed because you are the person everything depends on.
- Your team needs clearer priorities, responsibilities, and follow-through.
- Your systems have been added gradually and no longer work well together.
- You are preparing to launch a course, program, membership, webinar, or new service.
- Your business needs documented processes that someone besides you can understand.
- You need better visibility into what is happening, what is blocked, and what requires a decision.
- You have outgrown basic administrative assistance but are not ready for a full-time operations employee.
- You need someone who understands both business strategy and the technology supporting it.
- You want recommendations and solutions, not another person you must constantly manage.
How I Can Help
❖ Strategic Operations
I help translate business goals into priorities, projects, systems, and realistic next steps.
This may include:
- Reviewing how work currently moves through the business
- Identifying gaps, bottlenecks, and unnecessary complications
- Clarifying priorities and dependencies
- Improving workflows and operating procedures
- Researching and recommending practical solutions
- Creating documentation and standard operating procedures
- Helping determine what should be completed, simplified, delegated, automated, or discontinued
- Making sure decisions turn into action
I naturally notice connections and potential problems that are easy to miss when everyone is focused only on their individual tasks.
❖ Project Management
I can organize and oversee projects from the initial idea through completion.
This may include:
- Defining the project scope and desired outcome
- Breaking large ideas into manageable tasks
- Establishing priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities
- Coordinating designers, developers, writers, vendors, and other specialists
- Tracking progress, decisions, approvals, and blocked items
- Reviewing deliverables and identifying missing details
- Maintaining clear project documentation
- Providing concise updates so you can see what requires your attention
- Following through until the work is actually complete
I currently use ClickUp and have experience with Trello, Asana, Basecamp, Harvest, and other project-management systems.
❖ Online Courses, Programs & Scalable Offers
Turning expertise into a course or program requires much more than uploading a few videos.
I can help plan and build the infrastructure needed to support online courses, memberships, webinars, group programs, and other scalable offers.
My experience includes:
- Helping structure expertise into a defined program
- Translating a program outline into technical and operational requirements
- Building and maintaining WordPress-based learning platforms
- Organizing modules, lessons, downloads, and supporting resources
- Configuring enrollment, payment, and access systems
- Connecting email marketing and client communication
- Supporting webinars and virtual events
- Coordinating community components
- Testing the participant experience
- Tracking enrollment, list growth, sales, and other relevant results
- Maintaining and improving programs after launch
For one client, I helped develop and deploy a 28-week online program using LearnDash, supported by five Facebook groups. I also implemented the CRM and email-marketing systems and helped track program and marketing results.
My platform experience includes LearnDash, WordPress, WishList Member, aMember, WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WebinarJam, Zoom, and GoToWebinar, with some prior experience in Kajabi and Ning.
❖ Websites & Digital Infrastructure
Your website should support the business rather than become another disconnected project.
I have designed, built, deployed, or supported more than 360 websites, primarily using WordPress.
I can help with:
- Website planning and organization
- WordPress design and development
- Landing pages and sales-page implementation
- Website updates and ongoing maintenance
- Course and membership integration
- Forms, scheduling, payments, and third-party embeds
- Domain, DNS, hosting, email, security, and backups
- Basic search engine optimization
- Analytics and tracking setup
- Troubleshooting technical problems
- Coordinating specialized developers when needed
- Translating technical decisions into understandable recommendations
I use AI-assisted tools for research, planning, troubleshooting, CSS, code development, documentation, and accelerating implementation. I do not rely on AI to replace judgment, strategy, or an understanding of how the underlying technology works.
❖ Business Systems & Technology
Many businesses are held together by systems that were added one at a time as new needs appeared.
I can help evaluate how those systems fit together and create a more organized structure.
This may include:
- CRM and contact management
- Email-marketing systems
- Scheduling and appointment systems
- Client intake and onboarding
- Forms and data collection
- Payment and digital-delivery systems
- Project-management platforms
- File and digital-asset organization
- Password and account organization
- Automation and integrations
- Reporting and dashboards
- Documentation and training
I have worked with platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Infusionsoft/Keap, Mailchimp, AWeber, Constant Contact, Acuity Scheduling, Calendly, Appointy, SimplyBook.me, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Google Drive, QuickBooks Online, and many others.
I do not recommend technology simply because it is popular. I look at what the business actually needs, what the team can realistically maintain, and whether the system will simplify the work or create another layer of complexity.
❖ Reporting & Operational Visibility
Information is only useful when it helps you make decisions.
I can create practical tracking and reporting systems that provide visibility into areas such as:
- Project status and progress
- Team responsibilities and blocked items
- Hours used by project, client, or task
- Lead and client activity
- Email-list growth
- Course or offer enrollment
- Revenue and sales activity
- Marketing and launch performance
- Progress toward business targets
I previously used Salesforce in my own business for three years and created a visual dashboard tracking client count, monthly billing, annualized revenue, and progress toward my targets.
The exact system should be based on what you need to know and how you will use the information. A complicated dashboard that no one checks is not an improvement.
❖ Team & Vendor Coordination
You should not have to personally translate every request between every person involved in a project.
I can help:
- Turn owner or client requests into organized tasks
- Clarify scope and requirements
- Assign responsibilities
- Coordinate designers, developers, writers, and specialists
- Track follow-ups and unanswered questions
- Review work before it reaches the client or business owner
- Identify when a task requires a specialist
- Maintain documentation for future team members
- Reduce the number of loose ends requiring your attention
I am comfortable doing the work myself when it fits my expertise and bringing in or coordinating a specialist when it does not.
What It Is Like to Work With Me
I Look at the Whole System
I do not see a website, email platform, course, project board, or client process as an isolated piece. I look at how the pieces affect one another and what needs to happen before something else can move forward.
I Ask Direct Questions
Clear communication matters to me. I work best when priorities, expectations, concerns, and decisions are stated directly rather than implied.
That clarity is reciprocal. I will explain what I see, ask when something is unclear, and tell you when I believe an approach may create unnecessary cost, confusion, or maintenance.
I Reduce the Need for Constant Oversight
My goal is to understand the desired outcome, clarify what is needed, and move the work forward without requiring the business owner to manage every detail.
I provide visibility into what is happening while protecting your attention from information that does not require your involvement.
I Build Systems for Real People
The most sophisticated platform is not automatically the best one.
I consider the abilities, capacity, and working styles of the people who will actually use and maintain the system. That includes creating clear documentation and designing processes that do not depend on everyone remembering unwritten rules.
I Take Integrity Seriously
I do not believe in manipulative sales tactics, manufactured scarcity, inflated promises, or recommending services someone does not need.
I value honest marketing, informed decisions, responsible use of technology, confidentiality, quality work, and clear ownership when something goes wrong.
I Understand That Capacity Is Human
People do not operate with identical energy and focus every day.
I believe in communicating early, building realistic timelines, documenting important information, and creating systems that allow work to recover when someone has a lower-capacity day. Accountability matters, but so do context, flexibility, and finding a practical way forward.
Who I Work Best With
I work especially well with:
- Entrepreneurs whose businesses have outgrown being managed entirely from their heads
- Coaches, educators, consultants, therapists, wellness professionals, and other service providers
- Creative agencies and professional-service businesses
- Business owners developing courses, memberships, programs, or group offers
- Small teams that need stronger systems and project leadership
- Businesses that need someone who can both manage the work and understand or implement the technology behind it
- Founders who value direct communication, ethical business practices, thoughtful problem-solving, and personal responsibility
- People who want a collaborative strategic partner rather than someone who only completes isolated tasks
You do not need to have everything organized before contacting me. Helping determine where to begin is part of the work.
